The Restorationist

Geoff and MaryAnn Geness are lovers of history, art and architecture, especially the Turn of the Century era.  When they first saw the home, their interest was piqued.  Despite the numerous poorly done remodels, asbestos siding and overgrown lot, the home (located in Ashland's historic RailRoad District),  looked like it was from the late 1890's.  As they researched, they discovered the wonderful history of the home, and knew they’d found an Ashland gem.  They had their trusted team of builders and historians inspect the home, and everyone agreed.  This was something that had to be reborn!

Geoff had a chance to utilize his skill in building and restoring old things and MaryAnn carefully selected each element of the home, all the way down to the doorknobs!   Our restoration team includes the top industry experts and craftsmen in Southern Oregon, so that we could resurrect the RedTail and bring her back to her former glory. And the rest, as "they" say, is history...

Steve Asher, voted “Best Carpenter in Ashland” for many years, is renowned for his rehabilitation of many of Ashland’s prominent historical buildings, including the historic icon, The Winchester Inn.  He artfully blends historical elements with modern comforts, allowing for a wonderful balance of the old and the new.
